“a hurtful pain that challenges the corrupted foundation”
Jamar Carr is spreading the uncharted emotions of what’s it is like to be black in America. The music resonates to the soul as it speaks on injustice, poverty, corruption and all of the underlying schemes in the mainframe. He’s from Queens, New York, one of the many places where history shows its face in pain. He also released an EP this year titled “Hidden Jewels: The New York Diaries“.
[ Politically Incorrect: Wealth In The Ghetto ]
The album Politically Incorrect speaks volumes of all of the things that have happened in the past and present. From the sickening segregation days to acts of mental warfare of 2018, times haven’t changed for African Americans; just different faces, same schemes. The music to me feel like a hurtful collection of pain that challenges the corrupted foundation; yet not with sadness, but with anger. I can tell he’s intelligent and he’s using the ways of music to spread the message across.

The Oak feedback to Jamar: Keep spreading the message for the ones without a voice. The community definitely needs to hear it more. Last but not least, please keep making music. Do not give up.
